1. Who we are
EMITEC is a training and coaching company registered in Belgium, with registered office at Pijpenveldstraat 6, 3210 Lubbeek, enterprise number BE 1007.532.367. EMITEC is the controller of the personal data described below.
2. What data we collect
We collect the details you provide when enrolling for a course, requesting information or registering for a webinar: your name, email address, phone number, country, and — if you enrol through your employer — company name and VAT number. You may optionally add your job role, education level and field of study.
3. How we use your data
Your data is used only to process your enrolment or request, to invoice, and to send practical information about your course. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party marketing. The legal basis is the performance of the agreement you enter into when enrolling, and our legitimate interest in answering your questions.
4. Data retention
Enrolment and invoicing data is kept for seven years, as Belgian accounting law requires. Information requests that do not lead to an enrolment are deleted after twelve months.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time via EMITEC.academy@gmail.com, and you may object to processing or request that we transfer your data. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
6. Cookies
This website uses only the cookies required to keep your session working while you browse and enrol. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not share data with advertising networks.
7. Enrolment, payment and cancellation
These are covered by our terms and conditions, which you accept when enrolling. They set out the payment deadline, the cancellation window and how refunds are handled.
